To function properly, the professional weather center must be started correctly using good quality alkaline batteries and the time must be set.

Section 1 - Professional Weather Center Sensors

Question 1   Wired or wireless feature

This particular weather station has an optional wireless feature. You can either have your wind, rain, and thermo hygro sensor wired together and have them transmit wireless to the base station or have them wired to the base station with the phone cable.

Question 2   Additional sensors

This weather sensor is a closed system. It will not accept additional sensors.

Question 3   Cut or shorten the wires which connect the sensors

We do not recommend that you cut the wires, as this voids the warranty.

Section 2 - Rain Gauge

Question 1   To secure the rain gauge

On the bottom of the sensor there are 4 holes. You can use those holes to screw the gauge into something. First remove the cover. You have to push in the tabs on the sides and then pull the cover off. There will be a teeter-totter the has a metal bar for an axis. Pull the metal bar out with a pliers. The teeter-totter can then be removed giving you access to the screw holes. Make sure that you do not screw them in too tight because that will cause your teeter-to malfunction. Then you can reinstall the teeter-totter making sure that it is put in the exactly the same way that it was taken out. Then put the cover back on.

Section 3 - Reset total rainfall

Question 1   Clear rainfall data

  1. Press the MIN & MAX button to get into that mode.
  2. Press the display button until just the TOTAL Rain and the TIME and Date are displayed.
  3. Then press the - button until it resets to zero.
  4. DO NOT press any buttons until it returns to the regular display.
